The index for closing demand items rose 0.4% in November. Many of the November improve may be traced to costs for closing demand power, which moved up 1.2%.
The index for closing demand companies was unchanged in November. Costs for closing demand companies much less commerce, transportation, and warehousing climbed 0.2%. The indexes for closing demand commerce companies and for closing demand transportation and warehousing companies decreased 0.3% and 0.9%, respectively.
